Do you have unprinted balloons?
Yes in many shapes colours and sizes please contact us at shop@magicballoons.co.nz or use this website with your requirements

How long will balloons last?
11” latex balloons generally last between 12-18 hours filled with helium, Foil balloons last approx. 5-7 days. Air-filled balloons generally last for a couple of weeks, but will not float.

Is helium flammable?
No, helium is not flammable, and therefore very safe to use.

Can I suck the helium out of a balloon and make my voice funny?
It can be fatal to suck helium from a balloon because it displaces the oxygen from your lungs! No oxygen ... No life!!! Do not under any circumstances allow children to use a helium tank without adult supervision!!

Can you custom imprint balloons?
Yes, we can imprint 11in latex balloons up to four sides and up to four colours. Certain restrictions apply. Please speak to an event planner for more information

Do you design and supply?
Yes we can design and supply materials, and instructions for DIY kits. Useful for small budgets or Hard to reach locations

Are your balloons helium quality?
Yes all our balloons are helium quality

Are balloons environmentally friendly?
Yes. Latex Balloons the Natural Choice. All our Latex Balloons are 100% Biodegradable. Our Latex balloons are a natural product extracted from the sap of the rubber tree. Our latex Balloons biodegrade at about the same rate as an Oak leaf. Latex harvesting helps prevent deforestation. Rubber trees combat greenhouse gases-slowing global warming

Do you have preprinted balloons?

Do you offer a balloons-decorating service?
Yes we do, through our parent organisation Magic Balloons

What does it cost to have balloons at my event?
We treat each event with special care and attention, so it is difficult to give a general pricelist on our website. Certain contributing factors are the distance to job site, time frame to setup the job, and the type of décor selected. Please speak with one of our event planners to discuss designs, themes and pricing.

Why can’t I just blow balloons up the day before my event?
If you are using foil balloons or air, you should have no problems. But if using helium, latex balloons must be inflated about two hours before the start of your event

Do you charge a delivery fee and if so what is it?

There is a delivery and installation fee on all balloon decorating jobs. Please speak to our event planner regarding the fees.

I want a balloon arch at my event. Can I decorate the event myself?What do I need to know?
The first and foremost thing to remember is you need to know the height of the ceiling where you are placing the arch. Too many times a gorgeous balloon arch looks wretched because half of it is flush with the low ceiling! There is a simple formula to determine the size of your arch – width + height = length. Example…doorway is 8 feet wide, ceiling is 12 feet high, therefore the arch would be 20 feet. (8 +12 = 20)

Can you come to the place I am having my event and tell me what I need?
Yes, we can provide a site survey. There is $125 fee that is applied to your contract if you decide to book us to decorate your event.
